New to ELCS?
Whether you just closed on a home or you're still settling in, here's a short list of things that help new residents get oriented. None of this is urgent — take it at your own pace. We're glad you're here.
New Resident Onboarding Guide
We're consolidating everything new neighbors need to know into a single welcome guide — including key rules, payment setup, contacts, and community resources. The full guide will be available here soon. In the meantime, the resources below should answer most initial questions.
First things to know.
- 01
Review our governing documents and rules
The HOA Declaration, Bylaws, and Community Rules spell out the covenants that apply to every property. Skim them once — they'll answer most questions that come up during your first few months.

Know your board
Eight volunteer residents serve on the board and meet monthly. You don't need to memorize names, but it helps to know who represents the community.
Board of Directors → - 03
Submit architectural requests before exterior changes
Roofs, paint, fencing, driveways, landscaping, pools, and additions all require written board approval before work starts. Plan ahead — review is done at the monthly meeting.
Submit a request → - 04
Join our Facebook community group
Neighborly updates, lost-and-found, and quick questions all live in our private Facebook group. A good place to meet neighbors before the next community gathering.
Visit the group → - 05
Know your emergency contacts
Save the non-emergency police dispatch and utility numbers now so you have them when you need them. Emergencies are always 911.
See the numbers → - 06
Contact us anytime with questions
The contact form reaches the whole board. Use it for architectural requests, concerns, suggestions, or just to introduce yourself.
